Audit may be necessary for compliance purposes or for assurance to investors to review the controls and financial statements. Legal requirement for audit is if you exceed any two of the following three criteria

  • Annual turnover of more than £10.2 million
  • Assets worth more than £5.1 million
  • Average employees of more than 50
